On a Challenge Roll!

Here's my third challenge card for the week! I haven't done the "Ways to Use It" challenge before, but I had seen these gift card holders recently and knew I wanted to try one. I figured now was as good a time as any when I saw Thursday's challenge to create a pocket card.

The Old Olive cardstock was cut to 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and scored at 2 3/4 and 6 3/4. The short end was folded in and adhered to the inside of the card with sticky strip to create a pocket to hold the gift card. I added a strip of Dashing Designer Series Paper, matted on Real Red, to the pocket.

The background paper on the top half was created with stamps from In the Spotlight, stamped in Old Olive, Real Red, and River Rock. It was also wheeled in Old Olive with the Rough Texture Jumbo Wheel and sponged on the edges.

The sentiment was created with the "from the heart" stamp from Holidays & Wishes. I masked the word heart and added the circle heart stamp from In the Spotlight.

Recipe:
Stamps: In the Spotlight, Holidays & Wishes
Cardstock: Old Olive, Real Red, Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Dashing Designer Series Paper
Ink: Old Olive, Real Red, River Rock
Other: Basic Black Grosgrain

Such a fun way to give a gift card! I'm going to have to try one. Love the colors too - In the Spotlight looks great with that Dashing paper.
